
Raw materials selection:
The selection and purchase of raw coffee is handled directly by the company: Torveca technicians taste samples which arrive in the company in order to be sure that the aroma of the blends remains consistent over time. .
Blends:
The singular qualities of coffee are expertly blended in established proportions. A mixture of both Arabica and Robusta beans give the Torveca blend its unmistakeable aroma.
Roasting:
Our coffee is processed by technologically advanced machinery with artisanal touches which are the fruit of experience. Torveca blends are gently roasted to just the right degree to produce a wholesome product of the highest quality. The manufacturing process preserves the essential oils and all the aromas which are released during the roasting phase. The beans are fragrant, perfumed, with little residual dampness. By choice Torveca does NOT cool its blends by adding water in the final phase of the roasting cycle, but instead exclusively dry roasts. This means the bean remains whole and the caffeine does not turn rancid due to the water. Torveca blends are always pure, fresh and easy to digest as a result.
